Today is the tenth anniversary of Colorado Gives Day 2019, a day designated each year to encourage citizens in our state to donate to the local, non-profit organizations of their choice.
This special day celebrates and promotes philanthropy through online giving.
There are many organizations in our community that are worthy of our support—and for some of these groups, Colorado Gives Day is their biggest single day for fundraising. But how do you select the groups that will receive your donation?
A good place to start is right here in today’s Daily Camera: the Colorado Gives group pages. Boulder County citizens are community minded—and generous.
Be sure your gift goes the farthest when you give to a registered non-profit (and remember, all donations to a 501(c)(3) charity are tax deductible). We’ve all seen neighbors in need. Today is the perfect opportunity to lend a little help.
Giving is an important habit to practice all year-round, and Colorado Gives Day is an annual reminder of the positive impact we can make. Thank you for your generous support of our local non-profit organizations.
