Be sure to look inside today’s Friday Magazine for the  Boulder Environment/Nature/Outdoors Film Festival schedule.

Also known as Boulder ENOFF, the festival returns in July for its fifth year, bringing a riveting film lineup bookended with spirited before-and-after parties.

Headquartered at the Dairy Arts Center, the festival kicks off on July 14 at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn courtyard with the eclectic jazz of the Atom Collective, plus libations and heavy apps, and a chance to get your photo taken on the “green carpet.”

Closing night festivities will honor James Balog with its EARTH ANGEL statuette for his lifetime work in environmental advocacy.

For more than 40 years, visionary photographer Balog has revealed the most crucial environmental issues of our time, from endangered wildlife and deforestation to melting glaciers and wildfire. Balog’s Extreme Ice Survey is the most extensive, ground-based, photographic study of glaciers ever conducted.
