Join me for the first Pearl Street Stampede of the season to cheer on our beloved Buffs football team as they prepare to take on Colorado State.
The free fun starts with the Golden Buffalo Marching Band playing in front of the Boulder County Courthouse at 7 p.m. The stampede of band members, football players and revelers will then get underway, led by Stephen Tebo’s vintage CU fire truck. We’ll march down Pearl Street and conclude in the Camera parking lot at 11th and Pearl with a pep rally, complete with free black and gold pompoms for the crowd.
It’s going to be a blast.
Fire it up, and as the season gets underway, don’t forget the Camera’s Gameday guides. Written by our award-winning sports journalists, the guides will be bursting with in-depth coverage and analysis of the Buffs and their nemeses. Pick up your copy on game days (wrapped around the Camera’s Sports section), and call 303.473.1400 to include your ad message. Go Buffs!
