It’s time again to join together and help support Community Food Share’s Let’s Bag Hunger food drive, which takes place Sunday, Nov. 15 through Wednesday,  Nov. 25.
Community Food Share is the food bank for Boulder and Broomfield counties. Non-perishable food and dollars that are donated to this annual food drive help restock supplies and get food where it is needed the most.
You can help by  purchasing and donating canned tuna, soup, pasta, chili, canned fruit, dry cereal, peanut butter and other non-perishable foods, and donating these at dozens of drop-off locations across Boulder and Broomfield counties.
The Daily Camera is proud to be a long-time sponsor of Let’s Bag Hunger, and we’re putting out the call for volunteers to help as store “greeters.” Imagine: two greeters working for two hours brings in enough food to feed a family of four for two weeks!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of CFS, and over 2,000 people volunteer each year to support their efforts. You’ll get to work with some terrific and you’ll know that you are acting as part of the solution to food insecurity for families in Boulder and Broomfield counties.
