Our professional photojournalists didn’t go to school to learn how to take kiddie candids, but they are quite skilled at the task, as it turns out. This Halloween, our photographers provided their services free to the thousands of kids who attended Munchkin Masquerade in Downtown Boulder.

Halloween portraits were taken against a snazzy fall background, and participants were given the option to buy them online for a reasonable price ($5 for a 5×7). We made lots of folks’ scrapbooks richer, including self-proclaimed grateful grandma Chris Winokur: “I received the pictures you took of my grandson and son at the Pearl Street Mall Halloween party from Smug Mug about four days after ordering,” she wrote. “Love them. Also liked looking at all the other great shots you got there. Great pictures, great service you all provide – thanks.”
