Are you job hunting and over 50? Your wisdom and experience are pluses when you claim them as valuable assets and present them that way to hiring managers. National career expert Liz Ryan and the Camera have teamed up to bring you concrete, practical advice for 50- plus job seekers who aren’t willing to dumb down their backgrounds or soft-pedal their expertise. Re-find your professional power at this high energy job search program.

The three-part workshop series starts on Thursday, March 4 with Packaging Your Wisdom, a session designed to help you emphasize what is relevant and powerful in your history. The March 11 session, The Up-to-Date Job Seeker, will teach you how to research employers, surmount age-related obstacles, use social networking tools and snag unadvertised job openings. The last session of the series is The Job Interview and Beyond on March 18, which will show you how to close the deal and get the job.

All workshops will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Camera, 1048 Pearl Street, Boulder. Your $99 admission to each workshop includes the two-hour comprehensive session, a 10-page booklet of tips and resources, and free parking. Sign up for all three for only $250.
