Leadership Boulder County is a six-month leadership training program facilitated by the Boulder Chamber. It’s designed to develop leaders who are informed, involved and concerned about issues that affect Boulder County. Participants are given a broader view of civic leadership through direct contact with a variety of institutions and people who shape the community. The program culminates in the completion of several small group projects that meet the needs of local nonprofit organizations.

The Camera is a sponsor of Leadership Boulder County, and our staff looks forward to hosting media day every year.

It’s a prestigious, rigorous program, and I owe much of my success to it. I’m a proud graduate of Leadership Boulder County, as are our publisher Al Manzi and our classified advertising manager Mary Romano. The relationships I built during the program are solid to this day, both on a personal and professional level.

Leadership Boulder County requires Boulder Chamber membership, a tuition of $795 and a time commitment of every other Wednesday from January 9 to June 5. The investments are well worth it.
