Leadership Boulder County, sponsored by the Camera and Roche Colorado, is an annual program of the Boulder Chamber designed to develop leaders who are informed, involved and concerned about issues that affect Boulder County. Participants are given a broader view of civic leadership through direct contact with a variety of institutions and people who shape the community.
It’s a prestigious, rigorous program, and I owe much of my success to it. I’m a proud graduate of Leadership Boulder County, as is our publisher Al Manzi and our local editor Ryan Huff. The relationships and networks I built during the program are solid to this day, both on a personal and professional level. Leadership Boulder County had such an impact on me that I chaired the program in 2000, and I am no less enthusiastic about it today.
Leadership Boulder County requires an investment of $795 and a time commitment of every other Wednesday beginning this week. The class will culminate in a graduation ceremony on June 9.
There is still space available in this year’s program, but the deadline to register is today. Get in touch with Jan Berg at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303.786.8076 to become a member of the Leadership Boulder County Class of 2010. You won’t regret it.
