The Boulder Chamber Orchestra is celebrating its 10th anniversary season this year by hosting its most fantastical fundraiser to date. The Musical Masquerade Gala on Thursday, March 13 promises to be a night filled with delights, mystery and mischief. In addition to being a great excuse to sport a costume, the Masquerade will have extravagant items up for bid at live and silent auctions, entertainment from the Paul Mullikin Quartet and Mudras Dance Studio, delectable food and signature cocktails.

Music Director and Acting Executive Director Bahman Saless recently sent me a wonderful note to thank the Camera for being a longtime sponsor of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra and its fundraising events.

“Thank you so much,” he wrote. “I just showed [the sponsorship agreement] to the board since we are having a meeting right now. You cheered us all up!”

The Camera is proud to sponsor the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, as well as 120 other amazing local nonprofit organizations with our time, talent and $2 million of support every year. It is humbling to know that sponsorship means so much to so many organizations and the hardworking volunteers that prop them up. Supporting our community is one of the pillars of a community news group. We are thrilled and honored to play a part in their successes.

Don’t miss the Musical Masquerade Gala on March 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Boulder’s Rembrandt Yard. Visit for tickets and more information.
