It’s amazing what team work can accomplish. And when you’re trying to end Alzheimer’s disease, it takes a whole lot of team work.
Friends, co-workers and families are forming  teams right now to participate in the first Boulder Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, August 1 on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. It’s for an important cause, and we could really use your support, too.
Did you know that Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States? It’s the only cause of death among the top 10 without a way to prevent, cure or even slow its progression. It has touched families everywhere, including my own, so this event is very near and dear to my heart.
I am serving on the Boulder Walk Committee and the Camera is sponsoring this event. I would love for you to join me in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Here’s how you can get involved:
• Start or join a team: by registering at ColoradoAlzWalk.org.
• Become a sponsor: Contact me at stravolemosj@dailycamera.com to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association and have a profound impact on the movement to end Alzheimer’s!
• Volunteer: We’re looking for volunteers to assist us on the day of the Walk to make this a great event for everyone.
Come join us. Together we can eradicate this disease!
