Feel left behind in the online job-search world? Changing careers, or returning to the paid workforce? This three-part workshop series with national careers expert Liz Ryan will get you on track with training on your job-search brand, using LinkedIn and other social-media tools, pegging a salary level and nailing job interviews. Don’t sit on the sidelines. Make 2010 your year for a career reboot!
The series starts on Thursday, Feb. 4 with Reclaiming Your Career Ground, a session designed to help you identify and articulate what you’ve done professionally and personally that will make you a valuable hire. The February 11 session, Solving the Pain Problem, will teach you how to locate and reach decision-makers, and relate your background to an employer’s pressing need. The last session of the series is Non-Traditional Job Search Techniques for Non-Traditional Job Seekers on February 18, which will show you how to get your job hunt on the fast track.
All workshops will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Camera, 1048 Pearl Street, Boulder. Your $99 admission to each workshop includes the two-hour comprehensive session, a 10-page booklet of tips and resources, and free parking. Sign up for all three for only $250.
