Since All Hallows’ Eve falls on Saturday this year, it promises to be a particularly eventful and extensive Halloween celebration.

I’m looking forward to seeing all the elaborate costumes, from phantom-esque to fantastical.

If you haven’t made plans for tonight, consider taking Historic Boulder’s Ghost Walk Ghost Talk tour, a spirited walk about town culminating in psychic readings and refreshments. Call 303.444.5192 for more information.

Or if you’d rather put your energy into frightening the visiting Mizzou football fans, head to the Boulder County Court House at 7 p.m. for another rousing Pearl Street Stampede.

As for Halloween itself, there are plenty of sweet treats and mischievous tricks to go around. Just be safe. And be happy, because you have one more hour of sleep to recover from your sugar-fueled shenanigans. Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday at 2 a.m., so don’t forget to set your clocks back.

And don’t forget Munchkin Masquerade … bring your little ones for trick and treating on the Pearl Street Mall, Sunday, 1 p.m. … starting at the Daily Camera.
