We get nearly 90 inches of snow in an average year in Boulder County. The first snowfall can happen any time between early September and late October.
The coming of snow season means it’s time again for the Daily Camera’s annual First and Last Snow Contest, presented by Welzig Heating & Air.
Each year, hundreds of local skiers, snow fans and outdoor aficionados place their best guesses in this popular contest – and then they start watching the calendar! You could be the big winner.
