With Thanksgiving on the calendar next week, you’ll likely see an uptick in trips to the grocery store. While you’re checking off the items on your grocery list, you also have a chance to help needy families in Boulder and Broomfield counties.
Community Food Share is looking for your support with its annual Let’s Bag Hunger food drive, which runs through this coming Wednesday,  Nov. 25.
You can help by purchasing and donating canned tuna, soup, pasta, chili, canned fruit, dry cereal, peanut butter and other non-perishable foods, and donating these at dozens of drop-off locations across Boulder and Broomfield counties.
CFS is the food bank for Boulder and Broomfield counties. Non-perishable food and dollars that are donated to this annual food drive help restock supplies and get food where it is needed the most. Food security – having the means to provide enough healthy food for your family – can’t be taken for granted, even right here in our home towns.
The Daily Camera is proud to be a long-time sponsor of Let’s Bag Hunger and we encourage you to help out with your generous donations.
