Meals on Wheels of Boulder is presenting their 10th annual Festival of Trees raffle, and this one will be the biggest yet, with fifty stores and restaurants participating.
Here’s how it works: Holiday trees are donated, decorated and displayed by Boulder merchants in their stores. Merchants adorn their trees with valuable products, gift cards and the like. (There are also lots of “virtual trees” displayed on the MOW web site, as well.)
Go to MOWBoulder.org/festival-of-trees to see all the trees. Then purchase $10 raffle tickets for your chance to win your favorite trees. All proceeds stay right here in Boulder to help our neighbors who want and need home delivered meal service, which MOW provides without any federal or state funding. Buying just one raffle ticket helps MOW prepare and send out two of the estimated 90,000 meals they expect to provide this year. Two high-performance bikes are also being raffled off this year.
The Festival of Trees ends Thurs., Dec. 17, and the raffle drawings will take place on Fri., Dec. 18. Help Meals on Wheels assist the elderly and disabled in our community to stay in their own homes enjoying tasty and nutritious meals, delivered by caring volunteers. Thanks!
