Broomfield County has a lot of heart. It’s populated by an impressive number of volunteers, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and regular citizens who routinely make a difference in their community.

You might know a few of these selfless individuals yourself. If so, now is the time to get them the recognition they deserve.

The Broomfield Enterprise and Broomfield Community Foundation, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, Omni Interlocken Resort and Pinnacol Assurance, are now accepting nominations for the 12th annual Heart of Broomfield Awards, celebrating Broomfield County residents who have made significant contributions to the community.  Awards will be given in the following categories: arts, education, community service, senior (65 and older), youth (18 years and younger), philanthropy, corporate citizenship (Gene Frank Award), outstanding dedication to a nonprofit (Angel Award) and unsung heroes who epitomize the heart of the community (Heart and Soul Award).

Winners will be selected based on their contributions to Broomfield County, including donations of time, talent, money or life’s work. They will be honored at a community reception on Monday, April 9 at the Omni Interlocken Resort.

To submit your nomination, visit broomfield. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
