The Boulder Chamber is currently accepting nominations for honorees for its Women Who Light the Community event. Now in its 20th year, this annual event is produced by the Boulder Chamber’s Business Women’s Leadership Group.
Do you know a local woman or girl who has made a significant contribution to addressing a meaningful business or community need? Someone who saw a need, and figured out how to fulfill it? This is the perfect way to recognize your own everyday heroes.
Nominees must reside or work in Boulder County, have demonstrated a leadership position, and have contributed to the business community, the arts, education, health care, sports or the environment.
The Emerging Youth Leader Award is also seeking nominations for exceptional girls age 5-18 or K-12 who have demonstrated leadership skills in their community.
It’s easy to make your nomination online at boulderchamber.com (look for the link to Women Who Light the Community, then click on the nomination survey button).
Winning nominees will be honored by the Boulder Chamber at the awards dinner on Wednesday, June 10, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette.
The Camera is proud to be a sponsor of the Boulder Chamber’s Women Who Light the Community awards and event, and I encourage you to send your nominations in now.
