Home gardeners across Boulder County look forward to the Growing Gardens plant sale each year to brighten up their landscape—and do some good for our community. Over the last 20 years, Growing Gardens has brought sustainable agriculture education and food donations to over 136,000 Boulder County residents.

Their programs empower people of all ages, income levels, and abilities by reconnecting them with their local food systems and teaching gardening, cooking, and nutrition education. Thousands of pounds of produce are donated to low income community members to encourage greater food security and hunger relief.

In keeping with the safe practices of these times, this year’s plant sale is now an online event. Start by visiting GrowingGardens.org. Choose your plants, place your order, and the Growing Gardens team will prepare it for an easy curbside pick-up experience. They also offer a consultation service to answer all your plant questions to help you pick the best plants for your garden this year.

All proceeds benefit Growing Gardens’ sustainable urban agriculture education programs.

The Daily Camera is a proud sponsor of the Growing Gardens community plant sale. Let’s get out and plant some goodness in our community!
