A survey conducted by the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute has found that 70 percent of smartphone and/or tablet users consume their digital content within news websites or apps. Mobile accounts for 50 percent of web traffic, and 56 percent of mobile shoppers said that mobile search has introduced them to new brands.
Elsewhere, it’s reported that over 50 percent of all email gets opened first on a mobile device.
