The mission of the Louisville Arts District (LAD) is is to develop and promote Historic Downtown Louisville as a distinctive regional center for the arts to benefit member enterprises and the community as a whole. To that end, the LAD recently partnered with the Camera and Colorado Hometown Weekly to publicize its monthly First Friday Art Walks and participating galleries and businesses.

“A very special to thank you to Nathalie [Baret], our advertising consultant partner, for making sure that we get the best placement in Friday Magazine,” wrote LAD member and Creative Framing Art Gallery owner Janet Russell in an e-mail to Nathalie and her fellow LAD members last month. “Ladies and gentlemen, our ad campaign is working! Congratulations Team LAD!”

My thanks to LAD for the business as well as all the hard work on behalf of our local arts community. To learn more about LAD – including participating businesses, how to join and upcoming events – visit louisvilleartsdistrict.com.
