We talk a lot here about the importance of local businesses. They add to our choices as consumers, create jobs, and contribute to our local economy and tax base. I found out that one such local business will be closing soon. In this case, it’s a chance to congratulate the owner, who will be enjoying a well-deserved retirement.

Jerry Rhodes, owner of The Ringmaker at 2691 30th Street in Boulder, has announced that the business will be closing its doors at the end of the year. The family owned and operated jewelry store moved to Boulder in 1992. They chose this area for its strong business environment and of course, inviting lifestyle. Jerry has been active with both the Boulder Chamber of Commerce and the Boulder Rotary Club.

The Ringmaker will be finishing the year with a retirement sale you may not want to miss. If bling is your thing, you ought to stop in. We want to thank Jerry and The Ringmaker for their years as a loyal advertiser with the Daily Camera. It has been our pleasure to help them thrive during their years of business and we wish them a fabulous retirement. Readers, please take advantage of their wonderful sale!
