Established in 1922, Boulder Community Hospital (BCH) is a non-profit, community owned hospital dedicated to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our citizens and providing access to high quality medical care. The BCH Auxiliary takes the hospital’s mission one step further by generating and distributing funds that enhance its services. The Auxiliary’s most recent fund-raising venture was Boulder Busts Cancer, held on September 30.

More women in Boulder County are diagnosed with breast cancer than almost all other Colorado counties. The Auxiliary’s Breast Cancer Treatment Fund helps underinsured or uninsured residents of Boulder and Broomfield counties receive necessary diagnostic procedures and services after a suspicious or positive mammogram. All proceeds from Boulder Busts Cancer went to this necessary fund, and the Camera was pleased to be a sponsor.

“The BCH Boulder Busts Cancer committee sincerely appreciates your in-kind donation to our second annual event,” wrote a hospital representative. “The evening was a smashing success; we thank you for your consideration printing our ad.”
The Camera is proud to sponsor Boulder Community Hospital as well as 120 other hard-working local nonprofit organizations with our time, talent and more than $2 million of support. Visit bchauxiliary.org to learn more about the Auxiliary and its ongoing programs.
