Today I am pleased to share a note we received from Ann Obenchain, marketing and development director for the Colorado Chautauqua Association:

“Since 1898 the Colorado Chautauqua has remained committed to its original mission of providing education, cultural enrichment and recreation to its visitors. This summer continued that tradition, as musical and performing artists from around the world shared their talents with attendees of the Chautauqua Summer Series for one of the most successful seasons to date.

“[The Camera’s] generous support makes it possible to bring the variety of programming to the Chautauqua stage that patrons have come to expect. Thank you again for your long-term commitment and support of the Colorado Chautauqua Association. We are fortunate to have the Camera as a corporate partner ….”

Our community is extremely fortunate to have the Colorado Chautauqua. It is one of only three remaining Chautauquas in the United States and is home to a wide variety of happenings throughout the year (including the Los Lonely Boys show a few months ago – my favorite concert to date).

The Camera is proud to support the Colorado Chautauqua Association as well as 120 other local nonprofits with our time, talent and more than $2 million of assistance. Visit chautauqua .com to learn more about our historic Chautauqua and its diverse offerings.
