I’m lucky.
Because the Camera is so active in our community, I get to meet a lot of exceptional people: business owners, students, volunteers. Many of these people are involved in the over 100 local nonprofit organizations that we sponsor each year with our time, talent and more than $2 million.
These organizations make our community a better place–and we love to recognize their successes!
I received the following notes from two groups that we have been honored to sponsor recently. I hope you’ll take a moment to look into the great work they are doing in our communities.
Chris Marchioni, M.D. and executive director of Healthy Learning Paths, wrote to say, “On behalf of the children and families we serve, thank you for your support. Your generous donation… helped increase the participation for the Frank Shorter RACE4Kids’ Health and Health Odyssey Expo.
“The RACE4Kids’ Health is an event that makes the health of all kids a priority in our community. We are grateful for your ongoing partnership in this event and Healthy Learning Paths.”
Elle Cabbage, executive director of the Erie Chamber of Commerce, said, “Thank you Daily Camera and Colorado Hometown Weekly for your sponsorship of the 19th annual Erie Town Fair and Balloon Festival. Your support of the Erie Chamber of Commerce is very much appreciated.”
