Today I am pleased to share a note we received from Paul Bousquet “on behalf of all of us at the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department”:

“Thank you so much for your generous and continued support of our two big community events in May – Community Clean Up Day and the EXPAND Duck Race. Both were great successes again this year – thanks to your me-dia sponsorships and contributions. We truly appreciate this essential support for these beloved community events.”

Boulder is so fortunate to have such an active, dedicated Parks and Recreation Department. It operates three recreation centers, three athletic complexes, two outdoor pools, an outdoor skate park, a golf course, more than 60 urban parks and Boulder Reservoir. It provides leisure activities for people of all ages and abilities, including youth activities, art, dance, fitness, golf, gymnastics, pottery, swimming, tennis, weight training and yoga. And it hosts great events like Community Clean Up Day and the EXPAND Duck Race.

The Camera is proud to support the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department as well as 120 other local nonprofits with our time, talent and more than $2 million of assistance. Visit bouldercolorado.gov to learn more about the department and its programs.
