There has been a lot of discussion recently on the therapeutic use of CBD. Now you can learn about CBD’s potential benefits (and risks) in a free presentation on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Columbine Unity Spiritual Center, 8900 Arapahoe Road in Boulder.
“The Truth About CBD: The Myths, Medicine & Mystery” features panel members:
- Ilene Naomi Rusk, PhD, Director of Health Education at the Grillo Center, brain health consultant, trauma therapist and co-director of the Healthy Brain Program;
- Leland M. Johnston, MD, psychiatrist and professor, speaking on CBD and THC in clinical practice: its uses, the dangers and benefits for children and adolescents; and mental health and cannabinoids;
- Angela D. Bryan, PhD, co-director, CU Center for Health and Neuroscience, Genes, and Environment, speaking on the public health implications of the legalization of cannabis, the potential risks of high THC potency products, and the potential benefits of cannabis for a range of medical conditions; and
