It started out in 2020 as a way to safely bring something entertaining to hundreds of our residents that had been cooped up indoors because of the risks associated with COVID-19.

Today the Father’s Day Classic Car Cruise is a signature event for the Balfour Senior Living communities in Louisville.

The Cruise takes place this Sunday (Father’s Day). Cars will assemble at 9:30 a.m. at Centaurus High School and then proceed to parade across town as they visit each of the Balfour Senior Living buildings that make up the Louisville campus.

Each year brings more excitement than the year before. Between the walks down memory lane, the excitement of grandkids seeing the cars “vroom” by, and the festive ambience created by the Balfour staff within each community, the day is a big one… and, oh yeah, it’s Dad’s Day, too!

That means there will be plenty of outdoor grilling, shave ice and ice cream trucks, a pet photo booth, and even an appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog… and more! We wish the residents and staff of Balfour Senior Living a Happy Father’s Day and a great parade!
