Community Foundation Boulder County is committed to being a community catalyst for good, alongside donors and partners like—us! In a time when so many are already stretched thin—emotionally, mentally, and financially—due to the pandemic, we are now facing the impacts of the CalWood and Lefthand Canyon wild fires.

Community Foundation CEO Tatiana Hernandez and board chair Sue Anderson have been in touch to let us all know that the Foundation is monitoring these fires closely and it remains in contact with grantee partners and local officials.

While the needs of those in this area are still being assessed in this active fire zone, the Foundation is asking concerned citizens to consider making a gift of support to the nonprofit organizations who are working to address the needs of our neighbors:

CalWood Education Center (calwood.org)

Longmont Humane Society (longmonthumane.org)

Humane Society of Boulder County (boulderhumane.org), or

Mile High Red Cross (redcross.org).

Can you help our neighbors in need? Thank you.
