The three Boulder Rotary clubs are organizing a drive-through holiday food drive to benefit the Sister Carmen Community Center, which will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Please plan to bring your non-perishable food items to the Boulder Community Health Foothills Hospital parking lot at 4747 Arapahoe Ave. Volunteers will be wearing masks and observing all social distancing best practices to ensure a safe donation experience (please do the same when you stop by).
Santa will be there waving at kids and children can drop off letters to Santa and donate to Share a Gift or to Sister Carmen.
Sister Carmen is a non-religious community center assisting low-income families with food needs, rent and utility assistance. Sister Carmen continues to serve upwards of 90 to 100 families in Boulder County every day during the Covid-19 pandemic—that’s about twice the typical pre-pandemic need.
We are facing an unprecedented challenge. Please help the Rotary clubs support local families who are in need.
Thank you, Daily Camera readers, for your help as we take care of others in our community who truly need this assistance at this time.
