The Daily Camera is honored to work with over 100 nonprofits in Boulder and Broomfield counties, helping to further their vital missions in our communities.
I love hearing their success stories, too—and I’m especially happy to share this one with you.
Community Food Share held their annual Let’s Bag Hunger Fund and Food Drive in November. Out of concern for staff, volunteers and donors, the event was held online again this year.
Julia McGee, director of communications for Community Food Share, let us know that this was “a fantastic year for the Let’s Bag Hunger Fund and Food Drive. Our goal was 150,000 meals and the community came through with nearly 211,000 meals!”
“It is a pleasure to work with your team and we are forever grateful for your partnership.”
Once again, the Boulder community has shown compassion across communities and the families they represent.
We’ve been a proud partner of Community Food Share since the beginning of the “Let’s Bag Hunger” food drives. We salute all the men and women who volunteer year-round to help provide food security to all.
