The Great Boulder Duck Race is paddling again this summer on August 28 from 3-5 p.m. at Scott Carpenter Pool’s Lazy River

The annual Great Boulder Duck Race raises critical funds to support the creation of equitable access to recreation for low-income families and people with disabilities in our Boulder community. Donations also support the work of our Tree Trust and Boulder Parks and Recreation’s maintenance and betterment of communal spaces in Boulder.

Join us at the event for an afternoon of fun in the sun, including multiple heats of quacktastic duck racing, a synchronized swimming performance by 5280Synchro, an exclusive Boulder Parks & Recreation Slide Naming Ceremony, prizes, and lots of family-friendly fun!

The Great Boulder Duck Race was founded in 1988 and has become a Boulder tradition. Everyone is invited to adopt, partner or provide an in-kind donation to serve as a prize for our drawing.

The Daily Camera is a proud sponsor of the Great Boulder Duck Race.

So grab your sunscreen and come on out!
