The Great Boulder Duck Race is BACK and in person! This year’s event takes place at the Scott Carpenter Pool Lazy River on Sunday, August 19 from 1–3 p.m.
Join us for synchronized swimming and water polo demos, ice cream, and a whole lot of family fun in the sun. The duck race is always a blast to watch (it’s free and open to everyone!) but it’s the most fun when you have a duck in the race.
You can adopt a duck racer for $11—or make a bigger splash and adopt a mini-flock! Proceeds will help fund Boulder Parks and Recreation’s programming for low-income families and people with disabilities.
To keep this afternoon safe for everyone, we’ll be following Boulder County’s policies around masks and distancing for outdoor events.
The Great Boulder Duck Race was founded in 1988 and has since become a Boulder tradition. Everyone is invited to adopt, partner or provide an in-kind donation to serve as a prize for our drawing.
The Daily Camera is a proud sponsor of the Great Boulder Duck Race.
So grab your sunscreen and come on out for the Great Boulder Duck Race!
