Today, on the International Day of Peace, the Boulder community is invited to take part in the dedication of the Infinite Walk of Peace, sponsored by the Boulder Rotary Club.
The event takes place at noon at the Peace Garden ampitheater on the north side of Boulder Creek, between the Boulder City building and the Boulder Library auditorium.
Speaking at the dedication will be Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett, Representative Joe Neguse, and Boulder Rotary Club President Cassidy Murphy.
The dedication will be followed by the presentation of the Jim Swaeby Peace Award.
Following the award presentation, attendees are invited to engage in a moment of silence for peace and then join a guided tour of the Infinite Walk of Peace.
The International Day of Peace celebrates the power of global solidarity for building a peaceful and sustainable world. The importance of this in these times of unprecedented challenges is clear.
I encourage you to come share this meaningful event with others. Invite your friends to take part and take some inner peace home with you.
