The holiday season is a great time to enjoy a live theater performance—and our friends at VIVA Theater have just the ticket.

VIVA Theater is an innovative community theater group encouraging healthy, vibrant aging through creative expression. They provide opportunities for older adults to participate in the arts as performers.

VIVA is presenting Harvey, the story of Elwood P. Dowd and his best friend, who is 7 feet tall and called Harvey. The only problem is, Harvey is invisible—and he’s also a rabbit.

This comedy of errors was originally staged as a radio play during Christmas 1944. Viva’s performance includes live sound effects, music, costumes and more.

Weekend performances run Nov. 11 through Dec. 4, with both evening and matinee shows.
